| Javea Feral Cats |
We are legally registered in Spain and we operate a Trap-Neuter-Return programme for the ferals (and many abandoned ones lately). We use automatic traps to catch the cats which we then transport to the vet for blood testing and neutering. They are then returned to the area where we found them. As we become known in the area, we are getting more and more calls and since we started in August last year, we have caught well over 100 cats.
We raise money to pay for the veterinary fees by having collecting boxes in bars, shops etc and by private donations by individuals or larger charites. Our veterinary fees each month can be between 300 and 800 euros.
We try to re-home healthy cats and kittens whenever we can. We currently need to find homes for about 14 kittens and several cats. Please visit the website for more information www.javeaferalcats.org |

| Animal Aid |
| Animal Aid was formed in 2005, by a group of people headed up by Linda and Trevor Lloyd of Quesada. Animal Aid has become a registered Association, governed by its own committee of which Linda is President. Although they do not have a sanctuary, Animal Aid, rescue and re home dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, and also try with the occasional goat. They pay for all the treatment any of these rescued animals need, to bring them back to full health. When an animal leaves the care of Animal Aid it is in good health and has had all its required injections and will either be spayed or neutered.
Animal Aid spend all their funds on abused, abandoned, neglected and in some cases feral animals. |
